General Info

Christian Speck is a California attorney with over 25 years of experience specializing in tax controversy issues. He is of counsel to the firm and his experience includes more than two decades as a trial attorney for the Office of Chief Counsel for the Internal Revenue Service. Mr. Speck represented the IRS in hundreds of cases before the United States Tax Court and was one of Chief Counsel’s experts on charitable contribution deductions and investigating allegations of taxpayer fraud.

Before joining the IRS Chief Counsel’s office, Mr. Speck worked for a number of private law firms who worked with real estate developers, state and local elected officials, and he was the city attorney, under contract, to a small northern California city.

Christian is also a licensed California Real Estate Broker and for almost twenty years has been an adjunct professor teaching courses in Federal Income Tax, Business Law, and Real Estate.
